Service Maintenance Agreements (SMAs)

MPI machines have been proven robust, as evidenced by the 98.5 percent that are still performing. Eventually, these machines do require component replacement. All components have varying life expectancies but on occasion, a component must be replaced during the warranty period. Once the warranty expires, MPI wants to collaborate with you to take the guesswork out of your maintenance budget.

MPI now offers Service Maintenance Agreements (SMAs) for machine parts and/or labor. The SMA plans allow for a fixed-cost payable over a negotiated period. The ability to forecast exact maintenance costs allows you to worry about more important things—such as throughput, yield, and profits. SMAs may be purchased when ordering a new machine or any time until the end of the original warranty period. Plans are available from year two (2) through the end of year ten (10). Plans are transferable. Financing of plans is available.

MPI Parts Advantage SMA:

MPI Parts Advantage Plan provides coverage of all machine components for the length of the plan. Defective machine components will be replaced with serviceable components at no cost to the customer. The SMA coverage does not apply to items damaged due to misuse or neglect. For any machine to be eligible for this plan, it must be on a preventative maintenance program (frequency set by usage statistics) performed by MPI staff or an authorized global service network provider. The PMP covers normal wear items such as seals. Eligible machines must have remote-access capability that allows MPI to attempt to diagnose and rectify the problem via remote connection when appropriate. Labor to diagnose the problem and replace components is not included. Phone technical support to diagnose a problem, perform corrective actions, and replace components is included in this plan.
