MPI Expands United Kingdom Field Service Team to Meet Growing Customer Demand
POUGHKEEPSIE, NY: MPI Incorporated Europe Limited, a subsidiary of MPI, Inc., is proud to announce the expansion of their Field Service Team in the United Kingdom. This strategic move comes in response to the surging demand for products within the Investment Casting Industry and the exponential growth of services required by MPI customers in Europe.
With a global presence encompassing over 3,600 installed wax and ceramic injectors and a rising number of automation cells worldwide, the need for MPI technical support and field service expertise has never been greater.
With a strategic look towards reducing lead time for service and lowering costs for their customers, MPI Incorporated Europe Limited has tripled the size of their Field Service staff. Under the leadership of Andy Tolley, the service team is now equipped to offer localized services in the UK, and regional services to the wider European Investment Casting community.
Andy is well equipped to lead this team, having over 40 years of experience taking care of customers in the injection business. Andy started his career servicing plastic injectors and has spent the last 13 years directly supporting MPI customers in the wax and ceramic injection process of the Investment Casting Industry. Andy knows what it takes from a technical and managerial level to provide first-class service to MPI’s valued customers.
All Field Service Engineers are brought into MPI’s manufacturing facility in New York to learn firsthand how the company operates, how a machine is built and tested, and to establish relationships with key personnel at the facility. That training is coupled with on-the-job supervised training that is backed up by a world-class and highly experienced group of technical support personnel from the home office. Whether it’s routine preventive maintenance and calibration, commissioning of new equipment, assisting customers with process optimization, or performing upgrades and in-depth troubleshooting, customers can expect cost-effective, fast, and efficient services.
This expansion not only bolsters the team of service engineers, but it also enables MPI to invest in localized inventories with a look toward establishing a dedicated office for demonstration equipment in the future.
“This is a major step forward in our quest to provide unrivaled service levels in Europe,” said Mark Haas, Vice President, Global Sales and Service for MPI. “Response from customers in the region has been extremely enthusiastic.”
The central focus of MPI is to ‘put the answer where the question is.’ By ensuring faster response times at lower costs, MPI is perfectly positioned to serve its customers in the UK and European regions with expertise and expediency – which is certain to be beneficial to those who have invested in MPI equipment and wax-room solutions.
