MPI, the worldwide leader in wax-room equipment has announced recent changes in its management team. David Croft, one of MPI’s first employees, will be retiring on May 31st after 40 years of valued service. Over the course of his career, David has been involved in almost every aspect of MPI’s business and has held virtually every possible position. Dave joined MPI after distinguished service in Vietnam as a helicopter crew chief.

“MPI has been around for the past 41 years and Dave has been a significant part of the company for 40 of them,” said Bruce Phipps, President of MPI. “I always leaned on Dave to help me resolve any of the challenges we were facing during that time and Dave never let me down. We wish him the very best and thank him for all he accomplished. Dave may be retiring from MPI, but he will always be part of the team.”

Most recently, Dave established and managed the pattern production facility located at the MPI’s world headquarters in Poughkeepsie, NY. As with all previous assignments Dave embarked on the challenge with great passion. As a result of his efforts, MPI now boasts the most advanced automated pattern making and assembly production capability in the industry.

“It has been a pleasure working with Bruce Phipps, I value all the memories and opportunities that MPI has brought to me. MPI is amongst the best places anyone could work and is without question the best manufacturer of wax room equipment. I take pride in knowing I am part of that legacy,” shared Dave Croft.

Concurrent with Dave Croft’s retirement, Jeff Rich, VP/GM, is pleased to announce the appointment of Aaron Phipps as the new manager of pattern production. Aaron, a mechanical engineering graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), has been involved with MPI his entire professional career.

“Aaron’s promotion represents the natural progression of leadership in our wax room,” says Jeff Rich. “Aaron has been serving as the process engineer of pattern production and has more knowledge and understanding of the department’s operations than anyone else in the organization. Aaron has earned the opportunity to lead this division of the organization.”

MPI is also proud to announce the appointment of Christopher Boylan as Director of Sales and Marketing. Chris comes to MPI with over 20 years’ experience selling technology, service and capital equipment in a wide variety of industries. Chris’s customers have also included federal, state and local governments as well as military clients both domestic and international.

“As MPI continues to grow, innovate and introduce new products and services, it is critical to have a seasoned sales executive like Chris on the team,” said Bruce Phipps, President, MPI. “He brings with him a wealth of knowledge regarding international sales and customer support.”

Chris will help elevate the already high level of service MPI provides during the sales process and will help new customers understand how MPI can deliver state-of-the-art, wax-room solutions while remaining cost competitive. Chris will also partner with MPI’s agents and other members of their worldwide sales force to streamline the sales process and provide them with ongoing training, support and education – all in the interest of enhancing the overall customer experience.
