MPI, the worldwide leader in wax-room equipment, held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, January 4, 2013 at their world headquarters in Poughkeepsie, NY. During the ceremony, MPI unveiled their newly redesigned and upgraded 15,000-square-foot manufacturing and engineering space.

The expanded space has allowed MPI to create a fully functioning laboratory, showroom and production facility to demonstrate their state-of-the-art, wax-room equipment. A portion of the redesigned space is dedicated to providing their ever-expanding corps of engineers with a highly interactive office platform where they can collaborate on MPI’s highly technical equipment design. The expansion has also provided for additional meeting space to accommodate ongoing training classes and seminars for their global customer base.

Most importantly, the expanded space accommodates MPI’s plans to expand their service offerings to include pattern production and assembly. This service uses highly sophisticated robotic technology to cost effectively produce patterns and assemblies, which can be shipped directly to their customers.

MPI believes that automation is the future of the industry. As a result, they have dedicated a significant amount of their new space to accommodate their unrivaled growth in this area. The expanded space not only allows MPI to work on new and emerging technology, it helps further their position as the leading manufacturer of traditional wax-room equipment.
