MPI Continues to Innovate the Wax Room and Wax Injection Equipment

MPI has just unveiled its new removable wax-conditioning reservoir and docking station. This new equipment is ideal for wax rooms with more than two waxes and will instantly reduce downtime while dramatically improving productivity.

Until now, MPI wax injectors have only been offered with one or two attached wax reservoirs. For those organizations that regularly work with multiple types of wax, this meant having to drain, clean and purge a reservoir before a new wax could be introduced. The new wax would then have to be melted and conditioned properly prior to use, a process that could result in up to 24 hours of lost productivity.

The new removable wax-conditioning reservoir and docking station means that multiple waxes are always ready and available for immediate use. It allows you to change over to any wax selection in a matter of minutes. The convenient and easy to maneuver mounting system makes quick work of transferring a portable reservoir from the injector to the docking station. It also allows for easy strip down and cleaning of reservoirs.

The “quick connect” fittings makes it easy to connect electrical and cooling to the reservoir. The easily accessible wax shut off valve simplifies transport from the machine to the docking station and back. This technology also allows wax room operators to melt and condition wax offline from the machine in use. Portable reservoirs can be changed using the available transport cart.
