Process Control

The goal is optimum throughput. The objective is consistent wax patterns from injection to injection as well as from setup to setup of the same die. MPI’s strategy is to identify all the variables that affect the production of wax patterns, therefore casting throughput, and develop systems that allows for quick die change over and set up while insuring consistent patterns.

Here are just a few of the variables addressed by MPI:
Injection parameters including: wax temperature, wax flow, wax pressure, plus all machine operational parameters

Flow control on all machines…Single Flow, Time Based and Volume Based

Touch Screens

The nerve center for process control. This user friendly interface sets up, monitors and controls all injection and machine parameters including:

Wax Injection Flow
Three levels on all machines
Single Flow
Time Based Flow
Volume Based Flow
Wax Injection Pressure
Fill Pressure
Packing Pressure
Platen Position
Nozzle Position
Timers
Counter

The result is an increase in the throughput of quality wax patterns.

Injection Graphing

Real time graphic representation of pattern cycles allows the operator to compare wax flow and pressure to a predetermined baseline. Adjustments are intelligently introduced if needed. This significantly reduces set up time. Allows for storage of process parameters and comparisons of previous runs with current run.
