Automated pattern processing from tool to tree and everything in between. Our MPI 45-12 demonstrates this technology by automatically removing patterns from a die, trimming the runner and accurately indexing the trimmed pattern onto a conveyor belt or tray. We are well on the way to seeing our vision of a lights out operation become a reality.

Real time graphic representation of pattern cycles allows the operator to compare wax flow and pressure to a predetermined baseline. Adjustments are intelligently introduced if needed. This significantly reduces set up time, allows for storage of process parameters, and comparisons of previous runs with current run.

Patterns are carefully removed from the tool by MPI robotics quick change end-of-arm tooling.

The pattern is trimmed from the runner automatically in one quick, accurate snip.

You determine the quality of your wax pattern (specs). MPI will supply the system to meet or exceed the consistency, and repeatability of patterns to your specifications.

An optical inspection station is in development. It will permit a pattern to be automatically assessed against a set of pre-determined specifications. If a pattern falls short the operator will be immediately notified and the injection process will be halted until the appropriate corrective actions are made.
